Freeport exploding. Imagine the volume of beer, beach junk and groceries streaming out of a Freeport Walmart on a summer Saturday. It sounds like a big enough parcel to add gas, RV parking and more buildings.

Nature preserve = unbuildable wetlands and/or required retention pond.

COOL! Sowal will be getting a new "RV destination resort”.
I hope they put in a fishing pier on the bayou, some food trucks, and a music venue like Watersound. Will be great for weekend get aways from the beach.

I don't believe the property has closed, then it'll have to go through planning.
