My ears were burning, what did I miss?! lol

I am thankful for my daughter. Her existence has shown me what life and love are really about! :)

Ps. I am thankful for Lynnie and her addiction to black turquoise as well. ;)

Pps... And one other special woman I recently had the pleasure of meeting and spending many a sunset with.... :)

Thanks to staff at the Banktrust in Grayton. They are always smiling and friendly, and laugh when I say something funny (intentional or not). Anyway, I always leave there with a smile on my face- and these days that says a lot about a bank!

I am thankful for all of my children and grandchildren. They are keeping me from growing old. I am also thankful that the sun rises every day and sets every night. That means that the cycle of life continues. In the next 3 to 4 months, depending on delivery I will have a new grandson and a new great grand daughter.

Thanks to all the farmers and volunteers and organizers who have built up the Seaside Farmer's Market. It has blossomed into a wonderful weekly opportunity for locals and visitors to buy great fresh local food, plants, seeds, sprouts, and more; to visit with old friends and make new ones; to enjoy a great breakfast special from Raw & Juicy's guest chefs; and just get outside and enjoy this wonderful community.

Thanks Jen, Arix, Christin, Robert, Chandra, Eric, Jordan, Renee, Charles, Shueh-Mei, Anne, Lois, and everyone else whose names I don't know or can't think of at the moment!

Ditto Susan. These are the types of people I was thinking about when I started this thread- people, businesses, or groups who are making a difference in SoWal in a big or little way.

I have a long list as do others I am sure, and it has been an uncertain summer for many here- so at least we can throw a little gratitude their way!

These days I am thankful that Obama Appointed Feinberg and GCCF to take over for BP and put up 20 Billion. At least so far.

I second that one! The nutritional content of my diet has increased dramatically since the Farmer's Market came to town!

absolutely! of course we need to express our appreciation in person whenever we can, but this thread helps us all to remember and to think about so many wonderful people who literally make South Walton what it is.

I'm loving the love being spread to those who have worked hard to make a real difference, even when things are difficult.
