To iPhone or not

Anybody have the iPhone? I'm finally out of contract with Verizon and I've been wanting the iPhone since it came out. I'm a MAC who will never be a PC again.

Will it live up to my grandiose expectations, or will I be disappointed and sorry I left VZ? How's AT&T to deal with? I don't want it for the camera or the texting, I want it because it is sooooo cool :cool:

I've been having some issues with syncing, but I sure enjoyed you's guys 3G network when I was in SoWal saturday!

have it. it actually works. but, I prefer entering my own info the way I want it entered, using google contacts on my PC and it automatically syncs on my phone. same with google calendar.

My Android does the same thing.

I highly recommend the "Words With Friends" App (the free one) which is a scrabble game that you play with other iphoners. Beware: It's addicting!

The Iphone is the best cell phone I've ever had~

I heard they are opening up to other carriers. AT&T won't have the monopoly and there will indeed be more iPhone users. I will probably try it again. Jesus, can you text me, please?

Oh no, I hope you get your iPhone up and running again. Did you take the Apple warranty? I haven't yet, but am now thinking I should.

My apple warranty was still in effect. I finally took the time to get them on the phone with my iPhone in front of me, gave them all of the info of things I had tried to fix it. I had read that it is common problem for a wire to come loose in there and cause this. Since it had NEVER BEEN DROPPED :blink:, I was able to send it in and it was replaced within 4 days. I had to only drop it off at UPS store (I didn't have to do anything there but hand them the phone and a paper that Apple emailed me). Four days later FedEx was at my door with a new or refurbished phone, I don't know which.

Let me just say, NEVER TAKE YOUR PHONE OUT OF ITS SHOCK CASE. Get a good one and keep it in there.
