Today i was out on the water about 6:30. great morning, the sky was bright with no cloud in site. the water had a fog hovering over it. i started at the same place i always start. that spot has never let me down so i cast out, live shrimp as my bait. it only took a few cast and i heard the melody of my reel. but with little fight i reel in a juvee speck. no problem, that just told me big brother is out there. so i un hook em and watch him swim away. around that time a niegbor strolls by on his boat. we exchange greeting and he goes on by. i sat there and thought to myself the fish will bite today and i might hook into the one fish im longing to catch for the first time ever, the Redfish of legal size. a few minute go by and i see that my niegbor is stoped in the water. i watch as he cast out and BAM a nice size legal speck. i think to myself today is a great day. but as the day move on thing started to go south. every thing i caught today i let go becouse they were too small. the only fish that gave me any sport was the 10 inche black drom and a 1 1/2 inche lady fish. but on a brighter note any day you get to go fishing is a great day.-Dave
