Hurray!! They pour today and trusses go up tomorrow or Friday and TOPPING OFF party at Ballyhoos oh Friday for lunch!!

I am so thankful for our crew - they are THE BEST!

It is photovoltaics 30ashopper and - Standard Renewable Energy is the company installing. My gung ho solar enthusiast dh worked out roof design. The house is pretty much his baby design wise, etc.... parapet roof and concept of energy efficiency. It is very exciting yes, TCline, but very overwhelming when I think of all of the things we have to decide on piling up!

Awesome, I wasn't aware we had any local installers and was thinking I'd have to go all the way to Tally for service when I ultimately build.

OMG my husband was right up there with them and those things are clamped perfectly in place. VERY secure!! We have great pics too.

Next, is stucco and then cabinet tops! Pretty sure we've narrowed it down on both. Going with Silestone on cabinet tops.... waiting for all the bids to come in

We put in Silestone in our house in CA and loved it. We have granite here. I prefer the Silestone.

When's the open house?

I just realized what house you are talking about. I noticed them putting the panels up the other day. Very nice. Congratulations. You will love the ICF. I know some people with it and they love it.

You can be sure I'll post it on SoWal when I am finalllllly ready....so much little stuff to do! I have a lot of artwork I'm working on too = like for the stairway risers, etc...It's not a house we are building to resell but building for us - so there's no granite or marble or special features you might see in other homes. But I hope it gives people a happy carefree cozy feeling when they come by

Only the south side. Wouldn't do any good to do the other side.
