Somebody probably got in an accident and tried to sue St. JOE. Or sued because of the potholes. Somebody did a pretty bad job of paving. Of course it does get a ton of traffic.

It means it is privately maintained. James Bentwood is correct, absolves St Joe of liability. It is crumbling!
If memory serves, it has a blue street sign on 30A which means it's a private road. The county isn't responsible for its upkeep in anyway. It's on Watersound / St. Joe. That's their public disclaimer to avoid getting sued much like the super fast list of bad side effects you get at the end of every drug commercial. Boiled down...it's CYA

I have friends who live off of N CR 395. It's a complete disaster.Mexico would spit on North CR 395.
Yup can confirm. They made it worse by starting a detour on Saturday, Barely got anything done and don't work on Sunday so all the church traffic was a cluster.

Does anyone know if the county will be installing a Bike path on N 395 as part of the current construction project. That road REALLY needs one!
