LL - As the temps drop - so does the humidity - so if any mositure does come in - it is quickly dissolved in the atmosphere and never makes it to the ground. It is rare to get a snowstorm when temps are below the teens or 20's.

There are times when it's nice when it snows because it makes everything feel warmer outside. Strange but true.

Well, it really is pretty horrible, but you always know that it will end soon. Right now it's too cold for us to get snow!! Very dry, no moisture. My dogs practically tip-toe outside! Their little paws are so cold!
It's still early in the season, maybe you'll still get snow!

Poor little things. Frozen paws would be no fun!

Too dry - not enough moisture. (didn't I say that? If not, sorry.)
It is supposed to snow today. It's "warmed up" to about 15 degrees now.

That would explain why when we went to Crested Butte, our pilot said it was 7 degrees but it felt almost warm. That was strange. Everthing was all crunchy and frozen and I was wearing a buttondown. Here in the south, 40 degrees with a wind is enough to freeze me to the core.
