You got it! The first song is their class song--go figure, didn't even know they knew who Diana Ross is--and the last song is because of their 8th grade musical being "Grease." Also, I used the "Clean" version for every song.

Irreplaceable--Beyonce
This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race--Fall Out Boy
Glamorous--Fergie

The Sweet Escape--Gwen Stefani
Bad Day--Daniel Powter
Cupid's Chokehold/Breakfast in America--Gym Class Heroes
Makes Me Wonder--Maroon 5

I don't have an Ipod either, but I have got to break down and get some sort of mp3 player. It has to be EASY. I was thinking of getting a Creative MuVu (I think that's right). It's like a jump drive, you just plug it into your hard drive and download.
I don't have an Ipod, though I have not ruled out ever getting one.
Anyway, my "up" stuff tends to be Flaming Lips (that Yeah Yeah Song is fun), White Stripes (Jack White really grinds it out), Red Hot Chili Peppers (funky!), VHS or Beta, The Rapture, Green Day,plenty of old school like the Isley Brothers,Stones, Beatles, Earth Wind and Fire, ZZTop, Zevon, Hendrix...slower more introspective stuff might be the Shins, or Jeff Buckley's cover of Hallelujah.
oh I really like the Shins right now.I don't have an Ipod, though I have not ruled out ever getting one.
