Least favorite: Denial. I hate every circumstance in which that word comes up. It started in the garden with Judas and rears its nasty head still.
Most favorite: Sweet. There are some who might think it's a wimpy word, a poor substitute for more substantial terms. But I like it. I like it as noun "sweetie" when I'm talking to people I care about. I like it as an adjective when I'm describing a bargain I picked up at a garage sale
. I like it in my dessert. I like it in my gospel music when it's pulling a chariot. I like it when Shakespeare uses it with roses. It's a wonderful word.
