Hello, all!
I am trying to organize a group vacation for my family either for Memorial Day week or Thanksgiving week and need some ideas of available properties that would accomodate large groups. I would need something to accomodate approximately 24 people - 4 couples, 8 single adults/larger children, and 8 smaller children. Here are my requirements:
-- Must be in the South Walton East area (WaterColor to Rosemary Beach)
-- Does not have to be a single house, but multiple properties must be next to each other
-- Must be accessible to the beach with little effort (older parents and smaller children cannot walk very far)
-- Would like a private or community pool, but is not a deal killer
-- I'm open to paying a premium price, but would prefer something reasonable. (I've seen some properties advertized for $10K/week 😱 -- too high for the group.)
Any recommendations?

Re: Large Rental Needed for Memorial Day (WEEK)
UPDATE -- The family is interested in Memorial Day (Week) only.... not Thanksgiving week.
Thanks for the recent PM's! If anyone has other suggestions, please post or PM me. I need to start scheduling something in the next few weeks.

Unfortunately you need to be careful of this, most property managers will only allow the number of people in a house that it sleeps at any given time. This is only because it is a fire code regarding rentals. In some cases they will throw you out.

Thanks for the advice. I put this in the requirements because I'm not sure my entire family could survive one week in the same house together! I wanted the properties next to each other so that we could at least eat a few meals together.
