Long-time lurker, first time poster. We're planning a trip in mid-October. Looking for advice on rental companies with listings in Watersound ... or VRBO recommendations. Willing to consider both condos and houses. Ideally with 3+ bedrooms. Thanks in advance for your insight and suggestions...

Geksaa:
Kurt provided a good recommendation. I've stayed at Ross' WS condo at the Crossings a couple of times and enjoyed his unit. He also has access to the WS beach club which adds value in my opinion.
