About this gallery
ArtsQuest celebrated its 25th edition this year and continues to grow and improve every year. This year was the first at WaterColor and most folks in the know figured it would be a great venue, judging by the many years of successful Art In The Park events every March.
Cerulean Park was the centerpiece with its beautiful gardens, water fountains, watercourse, pond, several stages, strolling musicians, demonstrations, interactive displays, and wine tents.
ArtsQuest weekend featured 130 exhibiting artists, art workshops, live demonstrations, music, and more. One of the largest arts festivals in the Southeast, ArtsQuest attracts talented artists from around the country to South Walton to participate in the juried art show and compete for $10,000 in cash awards. Exhibiting artists' mediums include glass, metal, mixed media, and sculpture, among many others.
New this year, Chan's Wine World partnered with the CAA to host WineQuest, wine and cheese tasting. With a passport in hand, wine lovers had the opportunity to try wine and cheeses from five of the world's top wine-producing regions--Italy, France, Chile, Spain and South Africa. The wine stations were arranged throughout the festival.
Kids had their own Quest! A hunt that led children throughout the festival looking for clues to "ImagiNation-Where Kids Rule." With their TreasureQuest map in hand, children enjoyed a treasure trove of interactive arts and crafts stations that encouraged creativity.
