Scenic 30A Washout at Redfish Lake

About this gallery

Recent heavy rains and a jammed up culvert caused water from the north side of Redfish Lake to spill over and undermine the roadway. The green gas pipe seen in photos was not compromised and an Okaloosa Gas representative was on site for inspection.

Scenic 30A is closed between CR 83 (Blue Mountain Beach Road) and CR 283 (Grayton Beach Road) so use Hwy 98 to bypass.

Heavy rains around the 4th of July holiday nearly caused the lake to flow over the road.
