A special Eastern Lake paddle cleanup event will take place Thursday November 5 from 9-11am.
Our coastal dune lakes are special ecosystems worth protecting. This Coastal Dune Lakes Week, Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance Estuary Program (CBAEP) invites you to get out on the water and make a difference during a paddle clean-up on Eastern Lake!
Volunteers will help collect litter from the lake aboard paddle craft, supporting cleaner waterways and a healthier environment for the wildlife and communities that depend on them.
Meet up November 5 from 9–11 AM at the Eastern Lake Boat Ramp in Santa Rosa Beach. Please bring your own kayak or paddleboard if possible, as only a few kayaks will be available.
