Shalloween 2026

Some neighborhoods hand out candy. The Shallows hands out free healthcare. For the second year in a row, our friends in The Shallows are turning their street into Halloween headquarters, and every dollar raised benefits Point Washington Medical Clinic.

We can’t say enough about what this means. This isn’t a gala or a golf tournament. It’s a neighborhood that decided its Halloween party should also make sure a neighbor without insurance can see a doctor. A $25 donation at the gate helps keep a clinic visit free for someone who has nowhere else to go.

To everyone in The Shallows who’s hosting, decorating, cooking, and cleaning up afterward: thank you. You’re proof that community care can look a lot like a really good party.

Parking note: Please park along Dick Saltsman and don’t block driveways. Let’s be good guests!

Dust off the costume. We’ll see you there.
