Cooking fish in the kitchen with Executive Chef Cody Smith at Seagrill in Seacrest. Chops 30A is now Seagrill, from Jim Altamura, owner of Marina Cafe and Fish Bar in Destin, and Crush in Seaside.

Seagrill is between the SoWal beach towns of Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach, featuring upscale casual dining with fine cuts of meat, fresh seafood and sushi.
The large and sleek bar is known for regular nightly specials and many different martini creations.

“The food will be light and bright,” says Smith, and made with fresh ingredients and local produce. If it’s in season, then you are likely to see the menu change to reflect what is fresh. In its natural state, the food should speak for itself. “

Also joining the Seagrill team as manager and maitre’ d, is Jaie O’Banner. O’Banner has been a local favorite face at Fish out of Water and Caliza Restaurant, and is now sure to bring his warmth, personality, and exemplary attention to service to Seagrill.
