SoWal Spots for a Romantic Rendezvous

February 6, 2013 by SoWal Staff

Many SoWal locals spend February in a frenzy, preparing for the imminent onslaught of Spring Break. But we also want to pause and savor the last bit of relative restaurant solitude, and with Valentine’s Day approaching, it’s the perfect time to visit some of our most romantic SoWal spots to dine. Whether you enjoy a casual or fancy dining experience, here's the staff's latest SoWal List of great places to dine with someone special.

Café Tango (top photo)
Nestled in a quaint cottage in Blue Mountain Beach, Café Tango is the ultimate romantic venue. With its cozy, intimate atmosphere and five-star service, you and your significant other can enjoy each other’s company without much interruption. Tango offers an extensive, unique wine list along with masterfully prepared entrées. After dinner, enjoy an aperitif and the baked brie topped with blueberry compote.

Café Thirty-A
Located in Seagrove Beach since 1995, Café Thirty-A is the epitome of upscale casual dining. The award-winning restaurant is famous for hand-muddled martinis and impeccable service. Fish Out of Water
Located at the WaterColor Inn & Resort, Fish Out of Water is a chic and sophisticated restaurant with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico along with a creative and ever-changing menu.
