Must be big..firetrucks STILL heading down EPT.Kinda windy for a control burn IMO.

Yeah. Given wind conditions, I's be surprised if it was a planned fire.

update

I just spoke to a resident on Blueberry Lane and they were being asked to evacuate by fire dept.
Fire on Dawson Road now and some homes and cars burned.

From what I've heard - it's a family home by Magnolia Bay. They are evacuating some of the houses.

If it started in Bay Magnolia and has now jumped the bayou to Dawson St. it would explain the response. Not in Daughettes tho. That is the west side of Bay DR. and it would have had to go over me to get to Bay Dr.

If you live over there, get the heck out. Too dry and too windy to defend the homestead with a hose pipe.

Bay Magnolia is off of East Pt Washington?

Bay Magnolia subdivision, not the street. The street is Amelia. Magnolia Beach is the subdivision off of Dawson, that Indiangrass is in.

thanks I always get that area confused with mine...I am in Magnolia Beach....but Dawson is not far.

sheriffs office just stopped at house to say they are alerting residents to evacuate... the fire is out of control at this time over by Amelia

I don't have room to put anybody up, but let us know if we can do anything to help people who have to evacuate.

im on e pt wash rd and all my neighbors are running their sprinklers and getting out, including me!
i hope they have it under control soon. isnt it supposed to rain tonight?
