I am heading out to Glendale for the game and was wondering if there was anyone on the board heading out. I am glad we are finally down to the last two weeks.

Also, I have friends who are still looking for tickets in case anyone has any extras. They are watching the usual websites (Stubhub, eBay, etc.) but if you know of anything else shoot me a PM.

I agree it should be a blast. Ticket demand from Auburn fans is crazy. I know of about twenty people heading out just with us.

You do realize that your team hired a high school football coach just to land his star QB, right? Yes, I know that high school coach is now one of the highest paid assistant coaches in the country so maybe that's why your bitter. As for playing in a barn, they should rename Arkansas Wal-Mart University. Cleanup on aisle three somebody spilled the box w(h)ine

When the Gators went to the championship in Arizona in 1995, we flew out there without game tickets because we figured we could find them on the street. We did. There's always someone who at the last minute can't come.

That's their plan too, especially since online prices are in the 1250+ range.

Watch out for counterfeits. If it say Aubarn vs Orgeron then it is probably a fake.

Now that's funny....is that the story they put in the comic books at Awwbarn? Gus would have given his right nutt (houston of course:roll🙂 for that job. Gus is a very good coach and I suspect he will be leaving Chicklet soon for his own gig. Then we'll see if the Iowa State wonder really knows how to coach...or not.

Spurrier regarding a fire at Awwbarn that burned 20 books:

"But the real tragedy was that fifteen hadn't been colored yet!"

Go Ducks....

Make sure you dress for the climate. It's really warm in the sun, but when it goes down, it's SO cold in that stadium.

So you're saying the QB/Coach wasn't a package deal? Sure. I believe that one. I don't disagree that it was Malzahn's dream job being a High School coach, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a package deal. Just to refresh everyone's memory, three players came with Malzahn to Arkansas and at least two left after it was shown that Malzahn wouldn't get to run his offense.

ESPN on Malzahn

Malzahn leaving will be a no-brainer when he gets a good offer, but maybe Arkansas should have let him run his offense and he would still be there instead of Bobby Petrino. You just better hope Petrino doesn't "leave a note" in the Arkansas locker room and disappear for a better gig like he did to the Falcons with three games left in the season.

The fact is that HDN (nutt) never wanted GM as his OC and had it shoved down his throat by the AD (Frank Broyles). It was a volatile situation from the get go and GM bailed when he had a chance. HDN was definitely part of the issue, but so was GM. He could have controlled the bs from the Springdale trio and their parents, but instead decided to play the power card and threw HDN under the bus. Their relationship was beyond repair after that....Smart move on his part to get away from the Reverend Nutt. He would have never had an opportunity at Arkansas even if he had stayed when HDN "left". The house was divided and there was no way that the BOD would have allowed it to happen. I suspect that Chicklet is now getting a taste of the GM power hunger since he seems to be unclear as to whether his OC interviewed with Maryland. One would think that the HC would be in the loop.

Regarding Petrino, he is here for many years to come. Just signed a very nice 7 year extension with salary increases for his asst. etc. His buyout clause will prevent him from being "attractive" to anyone for at least 5+ years. 18M until 2015 then down to 10M; 2016 it drops to 7M. etc. Plus he can't go to another SEC team East or West.

Arkansas is very pleased with Petrino and he is very please with them....
