I just LOVE you guys! Have missed posting. You wouldn't believe my life the past two months. First, the sad news...we have to reschedule the SoWal trip for October and the dinner. For those of you wondering, we never sent out the invitations because of uncertainty. Here's what sidelined us...(1) Just purchased a second home on Bainbridge Island, WA and are in the process of closing and furnishing from afar; (2) Husband lost his mind and decided to run for City Council in St. Helena (Yikes!); (3) I have three major projects going to hearings at the end of this month/early October and have also just begun a joint venture with a famous chef and famous vineyard that must be shepherded along; and (3) The chef we were bringing to FL graduated from his program and is forced to seek full-time employment in Southern CA (tragedy + no Florida trip).
The plan is to reschedule this little soiree and make it a larger soiree between Christmas and New Year. I am so sorry to have to cancel this event, which was so looked forward to.
Know that all of you are having a ball down there and look forward to seeing you on the beach soon. In the meantime, I will log back onto the board soon and tell you a wonderful story that will prove worth waiting for. Thanks for thinking of me and missing my words...
