I am trying to find a pic of my favorite toy. It was Rocket Shoes. Kind of like skates but had springs on the bottom. I could bounce like tigger all over our large yard, down by the creek and everywhere. I don't know what happened to them. Can't remember them breaking but I'm sure they didn't last long. I saw them on Back to the Future when he went back to the 50's someone was bouncing down the street with them on.:rotfl: See is anyone can find a pic for me.

steele mama, these what you talking about? Found these on ebay, they are from the 50's. Of course, now they have these.

Did anyone have troll dolls? I never liked dolls--no Barbies or MAs for me--but I always played with my trolls. (Good lord what does that say about me??? ) I learned how to braid on my wild troll hair. My trolls had cradles made from leftover Velveeta boxes.

I love that you used the Velveeta box for the doll bed. :D

I come from a very modest background. Our toys were not those expensive kinds like silly putty and slinkys. My favorite toy was a rock. It was a cute rock and I called it Henry. You could throw Henry, roll Henry, dress Henry up like your favorite rock characters. I miss Henry. As a side note: If you plan on getting yourself or your child a rock DO NOT try skipping it on a lake! I lost Henry that way.
