talked to my best friend in T-town just last night. She says spurrier is going to be the next coach. I can't imagine why he would leave his cushy job at SC where they all worship him and treat him like their king. He will be an idiot if he goes to Bama. I'm really sick of hearing about Alabama football. :roll:

Well, I know for some this may be difficult to believe but college football is more important then the end of the world for us ALABAMA football fans. For example, I am paid by college football and based on the fervor of my man JB we must sign his paycheck too. Why else would we take to insulting people over speculating and poking fun at our troubles. It's not like we aren't use to being the butt of the joke. It goes back to the fact that we ALABAMA fans are somewhat myopic. We could be called Mr. Magoo as we have this pre-conceived notion that our history should make every one bow down. So it hurts a little more when Texas A and M can take our coaches, South Carolina can offer something we can't, a Pensacola Stripper can provide for our coaches better then our boosters- and that's just in the past 5 years.

At least we have tradition, some people may wonder when we'll quit talking about those pre-historic National Championships, but us in T-town say Never! I hope this clarifies things because it is more important then religion at ALABAMA. If you don't believe me, get that book, Rammer Jammer.

Tailgating- now THERE is a worthwhile sport. Of course it preceded the game of football, which I am sure was invented to give people an ending time for standing around drinking in a parking lot.
