Um, she's 5'11" and she weighs 160 lbs. I think the whole point is that she is on the thin side of normal, but is being called fat. The 'news' in this story is that we have a collective body dismorphic disorder in this country. We are so used to looking at 105 lb. models that she does look fat to our eyes...and that is a problem.

It's almost like she's a real woman. :clap_1:

She is beautiful, the media notices a couple extra pounds and goes crazy, GEEZE GET A LIFE !!!!!!!!! I would rather see her like that "normal" than very skinny, too skinny is gross anyway

Wouldn't it be nice to have more super models like Tyra as role models?
Maybe the fashion industry would finally realize most women are not a size

I think Tyra is beautiful too...until she opens her trap. 160 and 5'11" is perfect. She should be allowed to eat if she wants too! Think of all those years where she really had to watch everything she put in her mouth.

I think your points here are the whole reason for the news attention. someone took an unflattering picture of her in a bathing suit and reported that she was fat and dumpy. Tyra was insulted, not necessarily for herself, but for other women who are like her - healthy (not skinny).
