Well I finally quit my job.:D Unfortunately I did not have another waiting in the wings:eek: . Now I am in a major job hunt mode. I am basically looking for anything including a possible career change!! I have 22 years in the mortgage banking/real estate closing/title insurance business. If anyone is looking for hard working person such as myself please contact me. Or at least say a prayer for me....Thanks!!

 Hey Dawg-:welcome: Way to go! I did the same thing, well kinda, sorta (tee hee) about a year and a half ago. It's been great, whenever I'm not wastin' time thinkin' 'bout woulda, coulda, and shoulda's. Take some time to explore all those things you couldn't when you were too busy bustin' your butt for the man. Everthing else will flow like smooth, creamy buttah. Just so you know, that's what I'm going to pray for you! Take a walk and smell the roses, friend. ;-)

Just curious does Lacey Springs, Alabama actually have a spring that you can swim in?

Your welcome. The name is actually Lacey's Spring. I it named after 3 brothers whose last name was Lacy.

The spring that had drawn the Lacys to Alabama in the early 19th century was covered over by highway construction in the late 20th century. Built in the 1960s, the north-bound lanes of Hwy 231 obscured the spring but a 48-inch tile placed into the water source allowed the spring to continue flowing. The spring flows under the highway. You can't swim in it. But you can swim in the Tennessee River that is only a mile from house.
