BB, I'll make sure we have something bubbly to wash these bald peanuts down with.
But someone splain to me what it is. Do you deshell them and boil them till they are soft? Do you add salt? wassup?

you bawl them in the shells. add salt, my grandmother puts cajun seasoning or crab bawl (crab boil) in them!:drool:

a little bubbly makes everything better!

I'm sure that family recipe for bald peanuts calls for "green" peanuts, which you want find any time soon. ;-)
 
Well, I'm from the south, but I draw the line at boiled peanuts...
Me, too, gull! I eat hog jowls with my turnip and collard greens, but never boiled peanuts. I also refuse to eat pickled pigs' feet, always in the refrigerator when I was a child because my Daddy loved them. I used to close my eyes and hide them in the back of the top shelf so I wouldn't have to see them every time I opened the refrigerator door.

I eaten and enjoyed pig's feet, but pickling them? that just don't sound right.
