Y'all know what many of the old-timers do to - uh - increase the acidity of the ground around their tomato plants and thusly enhance their crop? Hint: it also helps to keep deer and other wildlife out of the garden.![]()
I'm told it works on jellyfish stings, too. But I think I'll stick to meat tenderizer and Miracle-Gro. ;-)

I knew it was just an excuse for them to pee in the yard!Pee-pee is basic, not acidic. I'm a gardener by trade and have seen many plants ruined by ammonia where dogs have marked their bushes. The ammonia is also why it works on jellyfish stings.
