people who block the isles at the grocery store -- When I am waiting behind two other people with carts to pass, and I politely say "excuse us" a couple of times, followed by, "EXCUSE ME, YOU ARE BLOCKING TRAFFIC," don't give me the evil eye. You are the one blocking traffic and causing a clusterphuk and making everyone's shopping more frustrating, not me. Obviously, being polite to some people doesn't work and occasionally, we need to

It was an off night at Publix - for once everyone blocking the way with their carts either apologized or was aware of it! I've come to regard those yellow and green kiddie carts as the "supermarket SUV".

Is this a low occupancy week? Seems very quiet for summer.

That is the crazy thing, Publix wasn't even very busy. The jam is in front of the deli. These two ladies, shopping together, each with their own cart parked side by side, with more buggies and peeps in front of the deli counter, looked at the four of us with buggies waiting to pass, as they searched the shelves trying to decide on a juice to buy. I thought one of them would move her buggy after seeing us waiting to pass. The lady in front of me looked very frustrated, but was scared to stir the puddin', so I spoke up for all of us, before the ladies gave me the evil eye, grabbed a juice and moved. I should have secret shopped for the two females. ( I really shouldn't call them ladies.) :bang:

:bang: Won't do you much good to come to the mountains. We have rude, stupid tourists too, who throw out lit cigarettes (talk about forest fires), and stop suddenly on a busy two-lane highway because they think they see a bear. And they really can't drive on our curvy roads. Guess we will have to go to Death Valley to get away from touristos.

i hear ya - we experienced a lot of this when we were in gatlinburg in june. i couldn't believe people were just stopping and abandoning their vehicles to chase off after a bear.

Lots of biotching going on here in this thread.
 I really wanted to come on this thread and complain about something but can't think of a single thing... I could say something about people who bug me because they always wear very neatly ironed clothing, but that would be unkind... Oh, Hey Mangy!

Having to show ID and give my life history to get cold meds!

Nothing says meth addict like a sniffly nose, hoarse/nasal voice and good teeth!

as inconvenient as this is for you - it's 10 times worse for those on the other side of the counter ;-)
