No kidding, we are looking at 3,600 miles roundtrip in about 12-13 days, with 2 days in LA and 3-4 in Taos. It's alot of 6-8 hour driving days with the worst one being the LA to Amarillo trip, which is why I need help... well that goes without saying

The benefit of the beach is that you run to the mountains, but not just any mountains... DESERT and mountains. I passed on recommendations to friends and will PM them to you. They loved the guided trip. Keep in mind we base all trips on food and food alone..... well, not true, we add drinks!

Are you serious? I never thought about doing that but it does sound like FUNN!! By the way, one of our favorite movies is the quirky "Elizabethtown" with the road trip.
