Okay the other thread got out of control......as usual:D

Here is a map of the "Grand Circle" of parks and places we can do from our RV pick up place. We can pick one up in Las Vegas. Those that can not do the complete week, meet us in Vegas!

Who has suggestions?:dunno: What are the can't miss places?

We are also trying to decide time of year, January and February are cheaper rates for the RV rental, but April or May would be nicer weather.

Ideas please.

Are we supposed to all actually sleep in the RV? :dunno:

1. Sedona...and ALL Her Wonderful treats...Vortice sights, psychics...:D
2. Brice Canyon
3. Zion Canyon
4. Boat trip on Lake Powell (Rainbow Bridge!)

I believe the North Face of the Grand Canyon (and maybe other areas also)
are "closed down" until LATE into the spring due to snowfall. This may have a bearing on your timing.
This is going to be a Wonderful Trip for y'all :clap:

Where else are we going to sleep? We will stay in Las Vegas a couple of nights. We are looking at some big RV's and I want places that will have nice facilities.

Good to know about the North Face of the canyon, spring may be better.

Sedona is amazing! We are going to go and stay a night at Goofer44's:D

I want to do the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a horse back riding trip. Does anyone know of a site that lists the National Parks and there amenities?

DA, why are you not coming with us?!

I sleep rolled up like a cannoli, so y'all will want me to have my own bed. Don't care where we go, just want to see the Grand Canyon.

We are looking at the bus type RV's that have two slide outs and sleep 8 - 10. We will have to decide the bed arrangements when we have a total of gulls that are going. My biggest problem will be luggage, clothes and shoes.....Cork says I can't take a bunch:blink:

My sister and bil have a very nice RV with slides, etc. They love traveling in it. They took my daughter for a trip up the east coast for 3 weeks! Each person had a large plastic tub that kept extra clothes in the storage area on the side of the rv. The closets are pretty good size...for a rv.

Sleeping is not bad, but you need to be good friends. Reminds me of slumber parties with bodies everywhere.:D We went with them a few years ago to Grayton Beach and enjoyed it. Of course my sweet bil did all the driving, so I got to enjoy all the benefits.

My BIL is part of a rv club similar to AAA. It recommends rv parks. If you would like to email him, pm me for the address.

Great info IWIWT! Good idea about the plastic tubs, Cork and i were discussing that and how we could work that out......my tiara's take up lots of room! ;-) One of the RV's we are looking at has a washer/dryer in it, built in coffee maker AND built in hair dryer. It also has a tub/shower in it.

I am pm'ing you for bil's address. SEE! I knew some of y'all would have great info!!!

Mr. dd advises me that he has a convention to attend in Vegas in Feb, so I might be able to get him to spring for the flight... Then, I could meet up with you all and meet him back in Dallas.
But, any time is fine with me. This is sooooo exciting!!
