Private schools anybody?

I was wondering if anybody has any recommendations about local private schools in Walton county, or criticisms. We are looking to send our boys to one, but being new to the area, we don't know a thing about any of them. I would really appreciate any input.

I don't know of any in Walton County, unless Walton Academy is considered private, but it is the "school of last resort" for high-risk students and those who have been expelled from the public schools.

Closest options - there is Rocky Bayou Christian School in Niceville. There is also a Montessori school in the eastern end of SoWal, but I do not know the age range. I think there are other forum members whose children attend the Montessori school.

Jessifun, Here's my situation. Maybe you can give some input. My boys go to a public school now, and there appears to be a problem with drug use / drinking in the 5th grade. They also have never brought one bit of homework home. Apparently, the 5th grade keeps all the graded papers at school. I don't know how much of an education they are actually getting. How about Rocky Bayou? Drugs, education??
