One has been requested so here it is......

Day 1- Made it to the ship terminal around noon. Embarkation was smooth as always, all our liquor made it in...:clap:The boat was big and everyone was happy, drinking, and EATING!!! We were not on the ship very long until we realized that it was the annual singlescruise.. (((www.singlescruise.com))))) There were over 500 singles with identification necklaces all over the ship...THey were certainly having funn right away...We were able to get into our rooms very quickly so we went ahead and unpacked. After muster we set off on our adventure. I know that when crossing the gulfstream it is usually somewhat rocky but this trip was a little different. I made it halfway through dinner and went to bed. (dramamine + IBD = sleepy girl)

Day 2- NASSAU. I have been here several time so I did not care about getting off the ship. After a facial we walked into town for a while. The spa on the ship was great (as usual) I love their products (www.timetospa.com) it is one of the things I actually splurge on. That night was formal night. Everyone looked so good. Little IBD even had her a pretty dress for the occasion. The boat was still rocking and rolling so IBD went to bed early---again. Sorry gulls this is not very interesting....

Day3- DAY AT SEA---- These are usually my favorite days but today was rainy and ugly. We sat on the Lido deck under the cover and drank buckets of beers and then tried our luck in the casino. The luck was not there... Little IBD was in Camp Carnival for kids. She loved it and cried most of the times when I went to pick her up.... That night we gambled, drank, and watched a show...

Day 4- ST. THOMAS After going through immigration on the ship which seemed to take FOREVER we were able to leave the vessel. The weather was beautiful hot and not a cloud in the sky...We hired a guy for the day (Leon) to drive us wherever we wanted to go. We went downtown and shopped for BLING!!! BB I saw the hello Kitty line and it was sooooooooooooo cute. Sorry I could not buy you a piece. We will just have to go back and get some...;-) St. Thomas has great deals for diamonds www.shopdi.com and I did buy some... A friend with me bought a beautuful Tag Huer watch for her fiancee and a platinum and black coral ring for his wedding band. This store www.passman.com had the most beautiful things but $$$$. After we were done the boys and Leon picked us up, we ate lunch and went back to the ship to get little IBD to walk around with her some. She liked getting off the boat was soon tired of shopping. (( I have to train her better :D )) THat night we stayed out later than usual and went to the R rated comedy show. I dont know if I have ever seen Mr. IBD laugh so hard. Most of you would have peed in your pants. HE WAS GREAT!! ( and I do not like comedy shows) Gambled some more but the roulette table was not my friend that night...

Day 5- ST.MARTIN/ST. MAARTEN We got off the boat early that morning and rented a jeep. What a piece it was. No rear view mirror, tires were bald, one seatbelt in the back seat, and the air bags were cut out of their proper places. Then we realized that the gas gage was broke!!!:yikes: We drove around all day with the gas light on....((We put some gas in and another friend had another jeep so if we ran out we had help))..... Driving around the island was easy. Half of the island is Dutch and the other half is French. The scenery is beautiful but SoWals beaches are still the best to me.. We stopped at a bar, had drinks and little IBD and I racked up on sea glass!!! It was everywhere!!! This made her day!:clap:We drove on and stopped for lunch in Orient Beach. This is the resort.... www.orientbeach-stmartin.com/L'Hoste.htm nice except for the ugly tatas that were uncovered on the beach...:yikes:Some people should just keep their clothes on and what is up with the tight little bathing suits that men wear????:dunno: We arrived back to the boat tired and hot as this was another very very nice day.

Days 6&7 - Days at sea These 2 days were just chillin days. I shopped, ate, drank, shopped, gambled, people watched and ate... Friday was quite an interesting day at sea due to the tropical storm that was north of us. We took a different route back home to avoid and complications. Friday night I could actually feel the front of the boat come out of the water and crash back down. We had a balcony room and how interesting it was to see all the white water that was created!!! I was most definately "rocked to sleep" that last night.

Today- We did not want to come home so we made a pit stop. :D I have wanted to go to St. Augustine to check it out for a while. We did not see much of the town due to time ( and the great LSU-Bama football game) but we had a great place to stay... www.worldgolfrenaissance.com If you are ever in the area this is a GREAT resort to stay at.

Tommorow we are headed back to SoWal  and our busy little lives. Thanks for taking the time to read this boring trip report but it sure saves me from repeating it a few times...:D I luv you guys (you know who you are) and I am glad to be back.....

I've never cruised either, but my BIL who crusies every other month loves it. It sounds like y'all had a great time since y'all don't want to come home. You deserve it!

Thanks for the nice comments

The food was alright. I like food but am picky about the quality. They make it look pretty but I think cooking for thousands of people cuts down on the quality of taste. The pizza (goat cheese and mushroom) was my favorite. They would make it to order and the room service BLT's were not bad either.

Paula, We were on the Carnival Glory. It is not the most elegant cruise I have been on but it is funn. The kids programs are great. They do have activities for the teens. there is even a disco that is just for them to hang in. The ship plans things for them to do and many of them hang out together all day throughout the ship. Here is a link http://www.carnival.com/onboardexp_home.aspx

I have cruised on Celbrity before and it was a step up in pampering but I dont think their kid activities are as good. Little IBD did not want to leave...

The weather was good in all the ports. I have never been to a port where it was raining but I am sure that it happens....

Franny, Yes lets get together. Now I can drink since I am off the wagon.....:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: email me.....
