I've seen only a few clips from the debate and it seems that the audience was stacked heavily for Hillary. Did it feel like that to you guys who watched the whole thing?

Edwards and Obama slung mud at Hillary but it didn't stick when at one point the crowd actually booed. Obama said at the beginning that what this campaign needs is,"...some straight answers to tough questions." Then when he was asked about illegal aliens getting driver's licenses he sure didn't give any straight answer. He rambled on, unclearly. When asked flat out what was more important human rights or national security, Obama said human rights. Hillary along with Chris Dodd said absolutely, national security. She did really good. Joe Biden joked that no one actually answered their questions so he was just following suit. Hillary said we need to focus on the issues and work together bipartisonly for solutions in a positive manner. It seemed like Edwards and Obama were more concerned with bashing Hillary than the real issues. I guess for them personally she is an issue since she's ahead of both of them. ;-)

I heard on quote form HER...something like...they are not afraid of me because I am a woman, they are afraid of me because I am ahead! Not sure if "afraid" was the correct word, but I have to give it to HER...that kinda' rocked. ;-)

It was a Hillary crowd and a Hillary night. Her joke about her pants suit being made of asbestos set the tone. My impression during the debate and after is that the media has decided only to highlight and focus on Obama, Hillary and Edwards and to exclude the others. This is kind of sad because Dodd, Richardson, Kucinich and especially Biden have so much to offer. I understand the polls show it is a 3 person race but I think that is because those 3 have all the $$$. All in all, it was informative. I HATE the post debate discussion by the talking heads because I think THOSE GUYS have their own personal agenda, like a job in the Clinton administration. That holds true for David Gergen and Carville.

I only got to see the first 20 to 30 minutes or so and it was kind of sad how only the top 3 get much attention. From the little I saw, I'd really like to hear more from Biden. I don't know much about him, but every time I've heard him speak he seems to be straight up and gets to the real points...not just giving the scripted, political, campaign-correct answers.

I believe that I understand poliTRICKS fairly well, but someone please answer this unknown for me. At this debate, each candidate is supposedly able to fill the audience with their own supporters, in equal share, and I guess the Dem Convention stacks some people in there, too. :dunno: If that crowd is supposed to be balanced between the candidates, how the heck did Hillary's crowd seem to outnumber the other candidates?

She showed that she is an expert at planting questions, so why would anyone be surprised at her expertise at planting supporters ?? Politricks is a great term to describe her.

Willie is slick, but I'd disagree about Hillary being slick. She is more like sandpaper -- very easy to see her awkwardness as she lies and flails around like a fish on dry land. Willie would tell a story and you (the public) believed him. Hillary tells a story and you question her because you know she doesn't believe it herself.

I think I'm pretty good at reading people, and I get only bad vibes from Hillary Rotten Clinton.
