Yay Ladyd! So glad to see you're posting!and NO MAN can wear a pair of wrangler's like GEORGE STRAIT.I have to admit- few men can wear a pair of Levis like Bruce.

Mr. JR saw him just last year in Chgo. My son & I were too busy so he went by himself. LOVED it. He's a huge fan of JB.
It was at The Auditorium Theatre. It's supposed to be one of the more acoustically correct theatres in the city. Usually housing opera or ballet performances.a friend of mine went to see him there also, after seeing clapton two days earlier. crazy.
Oh yeah...I got to see SRV about three weeks before his death. Unreal.
Concur totally on Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. Consistently best live band going if you ask me...
I've been to a lot of concerts in my life. I seen a few of the above myself - -
Led Zeppelin, The Who, Bob Dylan, BB King, Leon Russell, Doobie Bros., Frampton, Johnny Winter, David Bowie (3 times!)
But 5 of my all time favorites were:
- Santana in Mobile in the mid 70's (who opened for Clapton & of course, was much better)
- Jeff Beck at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago
.
I so want to see Carlos Santana play live before I die.
those old theatres up there. Been to the Aragon. Lived near the Uptown Theatre for a little while. Googled this of Robert Plant and Jimmy Page back then. I do feel lucky to have grown up in the 70's too. The first time I saw them was at the ATL stadium. The second time was in Chicago at the auto show place, forget what it's called right now. There was almost a riot because they left the stage after playing just a couple songs. Later someone said he had just found out about his son.
I thought they were po'd cuz someone was shooting off bottle rockets indoors.
Grayt show! They really rocked the Ryman in a bluegrass kind of way.wouldn't say these were the best rock concerts, but were by far the most funn.
Dave Matthews @ Masquerade in Atlanta (1994)...
seackristi- how was the old crow show?

I wouldPearl Jam/Red Hot Chili Peppers @ Lollapalooza '92...
to see these 2 bands. They remind me of my gulls and their friends' era. The youngest just saw the chili peppers last spring. That drummer reminds me of Will Ferrell so much. She said so in real life too. My Favorite is hard...David Bowie![]()
to see Bowie. Oh hail yeah, they're some of the founders! ;-)Don't know if you can classify either of these "Rock" concerts but:
Elvis
Tina Turner....that woman has a pair of legs to die for.

Oh, BTW -- anyone interested in what I predict will be a top ten experience --
The Cure in Tampa on June 11, 2008? JDarg isn't up for it!![]()
Bite me! I can't plan a concert that far in advance!!!!!
I need to look into my summer schedule.

Yall are funny!! Punzy you know I am always in like Flynn for road trips. My sister and I used to listed to the Cure all the time.
them!!

( I mean him!!!!)
