Oh, BTW -- anyone interested in what I predict will be a top ten experience --
The Cure in Tampa on June 11, 2008? JDarg isn't up for it!

:wave: Me! Me! Saw the Cure sometime in the '80s, they were great! Most of my 80s bands concerts are a big mishmash of memories though ... Depeche Mode, Violent Femmes, Simple Minds, it all runs together. I was such a child of the 80s.

Did see Bowie once.

David also had a bad habit of wearing pants that had no seat in them. (Talk about some not-straight pants!) His 80s clothes would embarrass the 90's version of Madonna.

I loved Eddie's overalls...they matched his guitar.
I'm sure that Tommy Lee saw the attention which David Lee R. received from showing some skin, and that encouraged him to play the drums at shows wearing nothing more than a leather thong. :puke: Saw the Motley Crue show back in 1988 Albany GA. I never saw a band spit onto the audience so many times. That was gross.

Cover your eyes, kiddo's.

Too many favorites to mention.
LOVED BILLY JOEL down in...Tampa? Clearwater? Orlando? Can't remember...it was this year though. Wasn't it?
Bizarre Combo? Not same night but same arena two days apart at Phillips Arena in Atlanta....
Barbara Streisand/Il Divo followed by Journey/Def Leppard two nights later
Farthest Drive and worth it? 11 hours to see Van Halen recently
Farthest distance-Jim Brickman-though I cheated -cause I was on a cruise with him in St Thomas/St. Martin
Most seen-Journey-Every one of their concerts. I'm die hard Journey Fan.
Almost forgot about Tina Turner till I saw it in this thread, but I saw her in Pensacola and she brought down the house, wow, what a show!
Made me cry? Liza Minelli-one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life.
Unexpected surprise- Heart at Wild Adventures Valdosta-still going strong!
Most awe inspiring- Yanni. International orchestra-unbelievable.
Most Fun-Jimmy Buffet of course
I could go on and on but I've got to go to bed.
Going to see Barry Manilow again in January.
But as far as ROCK goes- Journey.-from 20 years ago.

IBD, you just like the pierced nipples.

Drunkkenartist, Liza, Barbara Streisand Barry Manilow, Yanni, and Jimmy Buffet are not ROCK stars, by any stretch of the imagination. lol
