Up the hill from the Gateway Arch
L'il Pea #4's Christmas singalong was tonight, and here are two funny highlights:
They ended their program with "God Bless America," and I heard several of the kids sing, "from the mountains, to the fairies." A mom came up afterwards and said she heard her daughter sing "Jingle Bells" with this line--"bells on cocktails ring." :rotfl:

I'm not lyin!! I was in *heaven*! Ordered up my eggnog latte and kicked back to enjoy the carols. :D

How do they know the difference between the Holy Ghost and a Quad Venti? :rotfl:

Oh and a Quad Venti is a large drink with 4 shots of espresso in it for those Starbucks illiterates out there.

I wonder if the Starbucks has impacted the church's offering income. Latte or collection plate...what to do, what to do...

:lol:I will do some research on this and get back. This particular church is in a pretty affluent part of town, so I'm guessing not.
