That was a somewhat interesting GOP "debate," at least the last half. The first half looked childish. So why were all the Republicans wearing Democratic neckties?

Huckabee dropped that religious theme, as predicted by the bobble heads, and I thought he looked good, surprisingly. Especially with the bit about offering a billion dollars to the first person to produce an auto getting 100 mpg. He talked about energy independence in 10 years by removing penalties and creating rewards for R and D. Mitt sounded like he would rather keep the status quo. I thought Mitt looked rather too, political, especially with his requirement for people in MA to buy insurance. He twisted that around too comfortably. He's beginning to scare me.

Did anyone catch Ron Paul comparing himself to Obama? Pretty smart, seeing how Sen Obama has been shining lately.

McCain doesn't impress me at all.

I thought McCain and Giuliani did VERY well. Mitt was attacked by everyone because of his negative ads. He was on the defensive and he seemed very unsure of himself under the scruitiny. Hucksterbee was impressive but a little too scripted for me. Ron Paul is always entertaining but is too idealistic to gain serious traction. Fred Thompson reminds me of someone who just awoke from a nap and then starts to gather his thoughts. I thought Rudy did well but I thought it was McCain's nite. He was witty and sharp and is always on top of the issues. He never equivocates.

Senator Clinton just hit a homerun on the question of what happens the day after a nuclear attack on the US by terrorists. Obama and Edwards lack her skills of the dramatic.

Goofer, You're funny, you sound like a sports commentator.
I enjoyed McCain's counters done in such a humble fashion.
A true gentleman. You just want to hug him.

Interesting. I thought just the opposite because he kept throwing punches at Romney, every chance he got. Maybe he was getting even, but it seemed more childish rather than gentlemanly

I thought she "bombed" on the answer. She stated that she would go after the terrorists or any state harboring the terrorists. The follow up was never asked, but it is most likely that the USA would be harboring the terrorists, and in most cases, the bombers are killing themselves, so it was really not a well-thought answer.

Hillary's voice is started to get angry again.

If Edwards tells me that he is the grandson of a mill worker and a sharecropper, one more time, I might have to :puke:

After watching these debates, I have to start :rotfl: or I may cut myself.

Any thoughts on Ron Paul's thoughts that the price of gas in dollars increased 300%, increased 200% in Euros, and remained the same in terms of Gold? I thought it was very interesting observation. Inflation. Why has no one else even pointed this out?

Seems that our two party system divides good thoughts and ideas into ours and theirs and no one is willing to cross the isle to back good things.

Does anyone know what channel the Howdy Mandell suitcase show is airing? I wish I had a few rotten tomatoes to juggle over some heads. I'm a terrible juggler.

Okay. Obama just said he wanted to place a carbon tax on companies, and use that tax to give to the poor to offset their increased power bill, which would be caused by the companies passing on the cost of the carbon tax. Talk about PoliTRICKS and big needless gov't.

Wow. Hillary just dodged the last question like a politician. Gov Richardson at least had guts. Edwards copped out, and Sen Obama took Hillary's answer.

Why don't more people like Gov. Richardson?
