Smiling Joe: Here is the list of tennants I know 100% to be opening on Feb. 14th. Buffalo Wild Wings, Five Guys Famous Burgers & Fries, Kilwins, Starbucks, Marble Slab, the clothing store next to Five Guys (sorry, don't remember the name off the top of my head), and there are 4 other tennants, though I don't remember who (sorry, it's 1:30 am and I've been at work since 9 am).
I also know 100% that Dillards and JC Penny will be open by March 1st. Most of the tennants south of The Grand will also be open by that date. I know a few retailers are set to open but are waiting for more of us to open our doors. As far as CO's go, I don't know anything on that front. I can't say I'd be surprised.
I'll definately visit JP at Red Brick. I haven't had a good pizze in a while! Also, I hope you get a chance to stop by BW's on Thurs, or over the weekend. Let the managers know everything, or ask for the owners: we'll be there, too!
rapunzel: Don't know if you were being sarcastic or not, but in the event you were, I'm not thrilled about Valentine's Day being the "Grand Opening" (if it can still be called such), but that is the date Simon Property Group set in stone, and I wanted to hold to the deadline. Seems only a handful of us did so... Anyway, we're (meaning those of us opening) are ify about what to expect on Thursday, but we think we'll see some decent visitation to Pier Park over the weekend.
Kurt: We'll see what can happen here: I know some of the other restaurant tennants have already tossed this idea out: now we just have to approach the theater!
