Makes me think of Devonshire Clotted Cream
Does any place besides Magnolia Tea Room sell this???
And lavendar scones...
Rut Ro... now I'm starving.

OMG, there's a local place that sells Devon Creme and tastes like the real thing? That takes forever to make.
Dune-ahh, when I'm in Sowal, you and me baby.
(Just no flower smelling scones for me though)

Count me in! I love to go to the tea room. I know y'all will be surprised, but my favorite tea there is called "Pink Princess". I buy it by the bag at the tea room and bring it home. MMMMMMMMmmmmmmmm!

Think we'll have enough room though for cheesy grits afterwards?

I need a job so I can hire a nanny/cook for Skunky. ;-)

I cook Mexican and Italian too much. But for some reason, I just can't motivate myself to cook anything in any of my cookbooks tonight. Everything just sounds so yuck.

I go to food network...and check out recipes....they rate them easy to difficult.....;-)

This is a great thread! Thanks for starting it. I never know what to cook.

P, your 'tar reminds me of Nicole Kidman. Not sure why.

I can't help you with the cooking. If I don't eat at my folks', I have popcorn or leftover chocolate. It's not that I can't cook; I just refuse to.

I hear that slow-cooker stuff is popular these days?

NoHall..... :dunno: What the hail is LEFTOVER chocolate :dunno:

I'm not sure about NoHall but I always refer to leftover chocolate as chocolate bought for the holidays..Chocolate has a long shelf life...unless your house is very hot

Oh...usually put away because you don't want to waste and then when the chocolate craving comes you go searching in the cabinets and then there it is the forgotten leftover chocolate....

My kids got me enough chocolate to get me through a month of holidays. I finally packed it up in a box and took it to school to throw at the good kids.

Today I'm living on saltine crackers, Sprite Zero, sugar-free popcicles, and Excedrine. I'll need prescription drugs just to give me the will to live through class tonight.
