I'm watching it on DVR . . . so I'm a bit behind. Love Javier Bardem. So glad he won. Jon Stewart is doing a good job, I think.

Hilarious songs, but I can't imagine enjoying them out of context of the movie. And I guess it surprises me because they're recycled songs--it's like Weird Al winning a Grammy...

I still will listen to soundtracks all day...John Williams is my homeboy. Love me some James Horner. I have the soundtracks to Last of the Mohicans (which won an Oscar!) and Lonesome Dove in my car...

My favorite acceptance speech was the woman who thanked Love and and Life! She was so giddy!
The singer Marketa gave a great speech! I never have seen them bring someone back to the stage!

It's been a pretty boring this year. I don't think Jon S. has been funny at all. He just seems really out of his element.
I think so far that Helen Mirren's dress is the best. Classy as usual - distinctive without being over the top. She's my favorite gown each year.
