problem: I washed a bunch of dark clothes, along with a cotton/angora light gray sweater. big mistake. and big consequences. now I have massive lint stuck on black and navy blue blouses. I've washed them again, dried them, shaken them, picked them (too much to do this). the whitish lint is not budging. don't think I've ever had a problem like this before.

what is a girl to do? I would just put these items in the goodwill bag but they are some of my faves. :dunno: wah.

Do you have a lint/pet hair roller, with the sticky sheets that you pull off? That is the only thing I can think of that would work, and even then you will have to work (and work and work) at it. And then re-wash the dark things immediately to get rid of the sticky residue.

If it helps, I have been there, before sticky sheets were invented. :sosad:

Sticky rolles are ok with loose lint, but probably not for this job. A lint brush might work...the kind that traps the lint when you brush it the right way?

Tootsie, they make these little balls that have velcro on them and they are used just for this purpose. I have seen them in the laundry section at Walmart. I have never used them, so I can't tell you how well they work. I will see if I can find a picture of them and post them. Good luck dear.

Found them.

Lint Catcher Balls grab all that gunk that sticks to your clothes during the washing cycle. Hardworking poly microfiber surface attracts and grabs fuzz, lint, hair - even that stray shredded tissue! No longer will you have to pick out those unsightly, stray particles or pet hair on your clothes (or worse yet have someone point them out to you). Simply add one, some or all 12 Lint Catcher Balls with any laundry load. By trapping lint and hair, these reusable balls help prevent clogged washer drains too. Can also be used in the dryer. 1.25 inch dia. each. Set of 12.
