I never through my fat clothes away. There are two points to this.

One

If I start getting fat again, the cost of the food I've been shoveling into my mouth is going to cut into my clothes budget.

Two

Fat only goes on vacation, it is never truly gone.

Well, I'm hoping to send mine on a permanent vacation.

Toss 'em! I did. I have 8 pounds left that have to come off before I buy new clothes, which is why everyone will only see me in jeans and tanks right now..... I tossed everything. I've always been that way, though, I can get rid of clothes without thinking of it, but I had kept 2 pairs of jeans that I loved before pg with #3. I can fit into them now with "wiggle room" and I am happy......

besides those pesky 8 pounds.....

It'd help if I actually got on the stairmaster. It's sitting next to me right now, staring at me, wondering when I am going to get back on it.... I used to use it all the time. I guess it will happen when I really start pressuring myself to actively lose the rest.....

...yay for all you losers! (I mean that in a most loving and positive way!) I have a question about jeans...can you really have them altered? I am guessing that by the time I pay for the alterations, they will not look right and cost a fortune.

Next tackle for me...omg, how many pairs of BLACK pants do I need? I am getting them all out and testing them today. What I really want is a closet filled with only items that I reach for over and over and not a bunch of filler. My biggest hitch is saving clothes for sentimental reasons, but I am overcoming that little by little.

:D You're inspiring me...but I'm trying to wait until I have a LOT of stuff to get rid of. Got a ways to go yet. I've gotta make room for those leather pants though.
I can tell you that I have 8 pairs of black pants.
Speaking of sentimental clothes, I STILL have a pair of Willie Nelson jeans...circa 1980. Man, I had some funn times in those jeans.

1. I used to work in jean mfg... it never really works to alter jeans. Jeans are manufactured / sewn on industrial machines using industrial weight threads that aren't readily available at most altering services. In addition, after jeans are sewn they laundered in huge machines with hundreds of other garments, stones & abrasives which create that distinctive worn look on the seams and hems... this cannot be duplicated in a home laundrey environment... so altering the fit of a pair of jeans always ends up "showing" in the weirdest most unauthentic way.

2. Re: Black pants... you can never have too many. You may decide to work for Starbucks some day & then you'll need every single pair you own:lol:
