Friday, I was stuck in Craig, CO waiting on Enterprise to deliver my rental car for my drive to the Denver Airport so I could catch a plane to LAX so I could get to Nashville and drive home to Chattanooga. Not that I'm bitter :D

Well gee do you really think they are going to be able to find you, when they drive around with all that paper covering the windshield. :rotfl:

You have to get on the Scooterbug transpo plan! Fly into Denver, have the CME van drop you at the front door of relatives' house in Summit County, then spend the rest of the week being chauffered around by people who don't trust you to drive - especially in snowy/hilly conditions! :D

Well, I flew into Hayden but my flight out was canceled because of mechanical failure and of course the next day we had the Chicago thing to deal with. Anyway, alls good. We had epic ski conditions and that made it all worth while. I sooooooo wish I had a relative out there

The Otters play well in snow.

Great pics, but.......I got a little dizzy looking at that big hill that looks like you ski right into that deep gorge.

very nice pics RO! Glad you had such a grayt time. The last time I was in Steamboat was 1988, I bet it has changed a lot, I sure don't remember any high rises. I loved the fact it was so laid back. I remember it was a pretty large area also. I still have a huge tin chili pot purchased on he road to the large lake.

In 1988 you probably paid for a night's lodging at the same rate as the current lift ticket price!

Sowal prices will seem cheap when I get back! ;-)
