Darling, I am married to a very bright, sane engineer, that doesn't waste his time on conspiracy theories. Unfortunately, I don't take his advice (which was "Good grief, don't waste your breath on a whacko), but I will after this post.
I am sure there are lots of message boards where all you paranoid conspiracy theory people can get together for a love fest. This board isn't it.
Have you ever wondered about why people love dogs so much. I mean really, have you ever given it any thought?
You see a dog can be left home all day in a cage with no water or food and when he See's you all he is trying to do is lick you and love on you and just be happy to be with you.
You see a dog shames you into being nice to him. It's funny how an animal knows more than most people how to get you to be nice to them.
So you are trying to shame us into liking you, by giving us good rep and saying you like us? Perfect!
Not exactly, some of you have had some very interesting post that I have read. But to respond with anger only empowers the one you are angry with most times.
Kindness is contagious. We all need it and want it. It is a human condition.
We all want to be accepted, even Sandy B.
Now if I come on this site and bring things for you to think about and it is not accepted what do you do? Lash out and call the ones that you are trying to help names. I don't know to many people who can be persuaded that way.
The responses that I have gotten on the subjects that I have brought up have been normal. Why should I be angry about normal responses? I shouldn't, so I let you vent and don't take it serious.
Listen right now many people are under a lot of stress with the economy being like it is and people have problems so if I can make someone feel good by saying something that I find unfriendly then I say by all means go a head and do what makes you happy.
Your only human so I don't take it serious.

Joe I read your last post and choose not to lie to you. But getting off of that I came across this and thought it was fitting to post here.
There was a story about the Buddha where a verbally abusive man came to see him and starting hurling insults. But the Buddha just sat there calmly. Finally the man asked the Buddha why he failed to respond to the insults and abuse. The Buddha replied, ?If someone offers you a gift, and you decline to accept it, to whom does the gift belong??

Sorry Joe I was not ignoring you, I took the baby for a walk. Now to answer your sincere question, no, I am trying not to bring shame on myself.
The dog is not nice to shame his neglectful owner, he is just nice. All of you have posted some great post but some were what I would call a little rough around the edges.
When organic mama posted a very thoughtful post I responded accordingly. When mango sent me a message that was polite and respectful I have tried not to bring up the towers.
We are in this thread talking about something else because two people chose to respond politely. It doesn't mean I have changed my views but I am trying to be respectful of their wishes. Being courteous is contagious.
Many will chose to dismiss my questions which is within their right. But some will take the time to view the video and may walk away with a different viewpoint.
Do I call you names for not believing like me? No, I try to allow you the right to believe what you wish. Have I been afforded that right? That is up to others to decide.
Bottom line, you are all good people who just were not expressing yourselves like you are capable of doing.
Yes, but it didn't have enough karma to make Sandybanks, the ultimate SoWal freak, to go away. Maybe she and SCK will hold hands and skip into the sunset, to a message board that is more like them. As in, crazy all the time.
