Here is a picture of a tornado over in Earle, AR that hit earlier this afternoon. This is the same system that brought the storms our direction. This town is only 28 miles from Memphis. This was a F3.

Sadly 7 people were killed, including a teen, when it passed through Arkansas.

Right now we are getting pelted with heavy rain and winds, I feel so sorry for all the people at Music Fest, heavy lightning and no where to get in from the storm and blocks from thier cars. It is a bad situation. :sosad:

Ya'll stay safe! Are you in your safe place?

Of course not, living dangerously, lightning all around, lights flickering off and on and I am on the computer. :rotfl:

It is worse North and South of us, I think my daughter spend most of the evening sitting in a closest.

Me too, sitting in the den watching tv or in here on the computer. It's a wonder I am not out on the front porch watching the sky. Our lights just flickered and I heard a boom. A transformer bit the dust. I already heard one around here blow several hours ago. This is not going to be moving out of here they say until around 2:00 a.m.! They say there is more in southeast Arkansas yet to come. This is a slow mover. They are saying this is a slow mover and will be around Nashville about noon. But we are supposed to have a high of 77 tomorrow and sunny. Could have some left over storms early in the am though.

we had tornado sirens going off here all last night. Two touched down last night about 20 minutes north of here. The wind was clocked at 85 mphs in my area. I woke up because our 110 lb black lab was on top of me letting me know that all heck was going to brake loose. He woke us up in time to head down to the basement. It was scary. The sad thing is my kids were sleeping through the sirens and I had to wake them up. Thank goodness for the dog, other then the wind, I don't know if I would have woke up! Extra treats for our four legged family member today. I quess we are not called tornado alley for nothing.:yikes:
I think I saw dorothy and her evil sisters fly by lasts night... School will not be out to soon for me so we can head to the condo for the summer!
