4 Days and a Wake Up

And I am there. I promise not to do any STUPID Tourist tricks while I am there. Ok, there might be a few but they won't involve running anyone over on 30-A, running in traffic (like I would run anywhere), there will no hole digging, we will remove all crap off the beach at the end of the day, I will not walk out in front of any cars, I won't swim in the gulf if there is a red flag, and whatever else you can think of that tourists do that they shouldn't do. TripleB and I and the rest of the gang will be pulling into town mid-afternoon on the 5th. I am so looking forward to this vacay. I really need it. Looking forward to seeing all my local peeps.

Did anyone else notice that the flags were blue for the first time in ages today? Storming like crazy, power out on 98 but the water was SAFE?

Blue? I've never seen them blue. There is green, yellow, red, double red, and purple, but I've never heard of the blue flag.

Was that a misprint?

Dont know what the deal was but i saw a blue flag, no logo, flying in Seagrove today. It was during one of those good squalls that came thru about 4pm but it was DEFINITELY BLUE! I have to go in early tomorrow and will check it out closely if it is still there and report back.

Hmm, maybe a faded green or purple flag? Although the way you describe it, it sounds like maybe someone ordered a wrong replacement.

Maybe it's for lighting and we just haven't been told.

But my son was with me and even laughed too when we saw it during such a bad storm and commented about not many folks being able to go to the beach right then to enjoy the calm waters. Maybe some visitor was playing a prank or something, but I will see if it is there tomorrow and get pics.

I am so jealous and that is terrible. Have fun, enjoy the sun, meet lots of locals and be safe. I have to wait until next year so live it up for both of us.
