...what's your excuse? What's something different that you have come home with from an art fair or shopping excursion?

I was at the Ann Arbor Art Fair on Friday (http://www.artfair.org/, I also found out it is one of the largest in the country) and found an Australian artist who makes and plays them. I am fascinated and had to have one. I bought one (yes, it's being shipped) that she has painted Aboriginal artwork on that includes turtles to go in the beach house. Who wants to come have a drum circle?

P.S. I was once told by an old friend of mine I can't go anywhere without running into someone I know....at least in Ann Arbor I found it to be true. It's always kinda of startling to run into someone out of their "elimate."

Awesome. Now you need to pick up a copy of "Out of the Woods" by Dr. Didge. The king of the didgeridoo.

One question, is it pink?

The dumbest thing I ever did was buy a normal cheesecake at a charity auction for $70.00. I no longer bid at charity auctions.

A friend brought me back a boomerang with aboriginal artwork on it.
I use it to call MANgo in the yard for dinner. For some reason the dang thing comes backs and hits me in the head. I scream. He knows it dinnertime.
I guess it works.

 the didgeridoo! My nephew played the didgeridoo for a surfing documentary, "The Far Shore", which is about my cousin, Craig Peterson's ten years of surfing adventures around the globe. He'll have to play it for you sometime. It's way cool.

Thanks JR! I just ordered it from Amazon and will let you know. I bet I will love it, it sounds very interesting.

Nope not pink.....for a change.

That's not dumb because it went for a good cause.

That title sounds dirty.

Grayt minds think alike!

Will there be snacks?

.

Of course! What are you gonna play?

Too cool! When is he coming down? I would love to meet him. Is his documentary available for purchase?
