I saw this video on The Today Show this morning, and was moved to share it with you. A bit of research uncovered that the film is over 30 years old, and sadly, one of the men in the video was murdered by poachers in 1989. I still think it's a beautiful story.

I love the way the lion walks slowly down the hill, then runs to them to jump and kiss them. I love that.

Isn't it amazing that he runs to them like a dog greeting its owner, then nuzzles them? I love that!

After that video, Meredith Viera was crying (me, too) and David Gregory, who's guest hosting, joked that after commercial they would show the sequel, where the lion realized "hey, these are people, not lions," and eats them for lunch. Funny stuff.
