Welcome and thanks. Unlike Scooterbug44, I get the Sun religiously every Saturday and read it cover to cover. It is a great little newspaper with columnists like Tom McGee, Ron Hart, Buz Livingston and many, many others that are good and quite readable. I am glad to hear from what I assume is a "reliable source" that the office is NOT closing and the Sun will continue on Saturdays. BTW, rumors on SoWal lately have been rampant and, for the most part, unreliable. What's going on, anyway?

I had heard the office was closing and some staff were being moved to the News Herald (their parent company).

As for the rumors it just happens this time of year. Bored arse people trying to start stuff.

The News Herald is not and never has been the "parent company" of the Walton Sun. If your going to talk, get your facts straight first.

News Herald and Walton Sun are owned by the same corporation, right? I can see where parent company would tick you off..................

My bad, those must be different companies by the same name that own both. Oh, perhaps you can remind me where the Walton Sun's printing presses are again?
