I believe Joe has a problem with sharing defined as the government taking his money by force and giving it to someone else. Big difference compared to private charity. This country used to run on private charity but the government has institutionalized income sharing and has killed recepients' dignity in the bargain.

Joe didn't have anything he would have to share in the first place when he asked his famous question,imho, Now he's living off donations? I don't think the government killed Joe's dignity. I think he did.;-)

"Sharing" is a codeword for the government taking and giving to someone else who you do not choose. "Taking" in plain English is stealing.:angry:

Sharing was the term I used and it was meant just as it is. I'm not a happy camper when I have to pay taxes every year because I don't get a tax credit for children. But, I pay them, unlike Joe.

The only reason I posted this is that Joe seemed to have a real issue with sharing, but only if he was the one having to share. McCain called him out and he decided to speak to the press every chance he gets. That was a personal decision. If you don't want the publicity, you don't have to get on the fame train. Besides, I've only called dibs on your socks and cheerios.

I have NO sympathy for Joe the non-licensed plummer. He has created his own issues. No one forced him to continue going on the interview trail..... No one forced him to go on the candidate trail with his new buddy.....

He could have bowed out after the initial discussion with Obama IF he wanted to...but he didn't. He is a glory hound who is now experiencing his 15 minutes of fame.....

Actually Obama didn't approach Joe in his driveway, Joe pushed through a crowd to get to him. (watch the video) His life was changed because McCain brought him up in the debate and used him as a tool, not Obama.

I expected Joe to be able to take the name recognition and jump start the business he wanted. Most people have to struggle with the marketing end and here he had a freebee, yet he is failing to take advantage of it. I don't get him. How badly does he want his own business? Step one - get a license! :roll:
