I was wrong... went to the P.O. today and there was a priority mail envelope from PMI.

My ornament is well on its way to being done, and I'm pretty excited about it.

OceanLover, I'm working on mine. Lots of fun. When do we need to mail? I just read more info on my recipient and need to collect a little more material. I have an extra glass ball in case anyone is running late in getting some basic material. Must stop posting and get busy decorating ornament and house.

Just a little left to go in/on my not-real-sophisticated ornament! Problem is that it might require a (short) walk in the woods, and it's almost dark by the time I get home. "Walk in the woods" and "dark" are mutually exclusive concepts.

btw, I may have posted this before, but Michael's at Destin Commons moved all their departments around, and I'm still pretty steamed over it. If you are heading that way for supplies, allow extra time to find what you need.

Glad to hear the ornament making is coming along! I haven't started mine yet but plan to soon.

The recommended mailing date is this coming Monday, Dec 8.

I'm working on mine this weekend and sending it out on Monday. I have all the goodies to make it. I love this time of year... And I get to put up the Christmas tree and the two ornaments I got from the last two SoWal Christmas ornament exchanges this weekend.

Ahhh, thanks for missing me (I realize my response to this is quite delayed). I was way the hail too busy this fall to even cruise the SoWal board (OK, I peeked a few times), but now I'm baaaaaaaaaaack. All I did on SoWal in the past few months is sign up for the ornament exchange! I definitely wouldn't miss that, thanks to OL.
